CHESTER HOUSE

LONDON

A large mainly Jacobean Grade 2 Listed house, extended by the Georgians and refronted by the Victorians. Turned into an office in the 1960’s by a property developer and now returned to its original use as a large family home. The house has been extensively renovated and remodelled both internally and externally including a new orangery to the rear and a large leisure complex to the side below a terraced garden and water cascade. The new works have sought to restore the proportions, scale and fineness of detail of the original house both externally and internally using traditional and contemporary materials.
